The purpose of this document is to inform you about which data we store when you visit our website and how your personal data will be used.

Consent to use data

We do not collect any personal identifying information about you via our website, unless, of course, you voluntarily make it available to us (e.g. in inquiries, contact details for orders, newsletter subscriptions, job applications, or if you send us information in an e-mail), or if it is otherwise permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

Intended purpose

We only use and/or process the personal data supplied by you online for the earmarked purposes (or for those purposes directly associated) that are disclosed below – unless there is a legal obligation, a governmental or judicial order, or if it is necessary to protect a legal claim or prevent illegal activities.

Personal data

We will neither sell, market nor otherwise pass on your personal information to third parties. We will store this information only as long as it is required, to carry out the purpose for which it was intended and as communicated, or if required to do so by law.

Log files

Every time a user visits our DMC GmbH site, data is collected, stored, processed and logged. During this process, your current IP address, the pages you visited, the access and upload status, the volume of data transferred together with the date and time, as well as which browser and operating system you used to access our pages are recorded.

Cookies and scripts

To facilitate access to our website and to analyze statistics, we store cookies on your computer. You have the option to change your browser settings to disable cookies. Once you are done visiting our website, you can delete cookies at any time from your system. We do not use so-called Flash cookies. If you elect to prevent cookies from being stored or JavaScripts from being executed, it may cause some some pages from functioning properly.

We collect and evaluate this data in order to manage the technical aspects of the web application, for statistical purposes and to improve our website offering.

Google Analytics

These pages also use Google Fonts and Google Analytics. This means, your browser will transmit data to countries outside the EU (e.g. United States). You can block the execution of these scripts by changing the settings in your browser or by disabling add-ons. We use this data solely to improve our website.

Right to information

You have the right, of course, to object to the use of your data, unless it is required for the processing of a contractual agreement or if the company is required to process certain data due to legal requirements. You can exercise this right by writing a letter or an e-mail to the contact listed in the imprint or contact our data protection supervisor. A confirmation will be sent back using the same channel.
